Dear Parents,

 

    

We would like to thank all of the families who helped with our Halloween Carnival. We hope all of you enjoyed yourselves.

 

Another very special THANK YOU to: Fred and Rhea for cleaning our parking lot. It was such a nice surprise to come and find our parking lot so clean.

 

Thanksgiving Feast:

The Pre School/Two’s Feast will be on Friday, November 16^th at 11:45. They will have a BBQ (hot dog) lunch. Parents are welcome to come have lunch with their child. The children will also be making pumpkin and chocolate pies! Come enjoy lunch with your children!!!! The fee for this lunch will be $5.00 per person. Please see attached form.

Please see Jenni or Amy if you would like to help prepare and set up for lunch.

The School Age Feast will be on Wednesday, November 14^th at 3:00. The school age children have voted that they will have Mexican food for their feast. Parents are welcome to come enjoy the feast with their children. The fee for this will be $5.00 per person. Please see attached form.

Hope to see you there!  

See’s Candy:  We will be having a See’s candy fundraiser. This will start on Nov. 1^stand ends on Nov.16^th. Please turn in all orders by Nov. 16^th so we can place our order. Candy will be ready for pick up on Dec.7^th, after 3pm in the school age kitchen.

A Few Reminders:

We ask that you please send a jacket or sweatshirt for your child every day. It can get chilly outside in the mornings and also later in the afternoons. You are welcome to leave a sweatshirt in your child’s extra clothes bucket.

 As you know it’s the beginning of the cold and flu season. It is our goal to keep all of the children and staff healthy.

The staff is reminding the children to wash their hands, use Kleenex, and we have been doing extra cleaning. It is St. James policy if your child is sent home with a fever of 100 or higher, or any other illness they need to stay home the following day.

School Age Parents- Please remember if your child is sent home from Roosevelt with a fever or any other illness they may not return to St. James the following day.

****Please Note;

- Our Christmas Program will be on a Wednesday night this year. We understand this may be hard for the children (and parents) for the following day. We do appreciate your flexibility in advance.

- St. James Lutheran Church Christmas Open House/Craft Sale- December 8^th. If any parents have crafts that they would like to sell at a booth please let me know. Times for this event TBA.
