Preschool and Two-Year Old Program
Enrollment: Saint James Christian Pre-School and Two-Year Old Program is open to all children between the ages of two (2) through five (5) years old. The Pre-School and Two-Year Old Program is non-denominational and children of all ethnicities, religion, and cultures are welcome. Register by sumbitting an application form with a $50.00 registration fee. As space becomes available applicants are accepted following an interview between child, parent and Director. It will be determined at the time if the child is ready to benefit from our Pre-School experience.
Ratio: We maintain a high staff to child ratio. Two's Program 4-1; Pre-School 6-1.
Organization: Saint James Christian Pre-School and Two-Year Old Program, as one aspect of parish education ministry at Saint James Lutheran Church, is a non-profit, tax exempt California organization. It is licensed by the State Board of Health. The Pre-School is non-denominational.
Nutrition: A nutritious morning and afternoon snack will be provided. For those who arrive before 7:30 AM, a daily breakfast will be served.
School Age Program
Enrollment: Saint James School-Age Program is open to all children between the ages of five (5) through twelve (12) years old. The Program is non-denominational and children of all races, religion, color, national ethnic origin are welcome. Register by submitting an application form with a $50.00 registration fee. As space becomes available, applicants are accepted following an interview between child, parent and Director. It will be determined at that time if the child is ready to benefit from our school experience.

Transportation: Transportation to and from school will be provided by a van from our center, driven by one of our trained staff members. We drop off and pick up from Roosevelt Elementary School.
Nutrition: A nutritious morning and afternoon snack will be provided. Parents will provide a healthy lunch, free from high sugar foods. For those who arrive before 7:30 AM, a daily breakfast will be served.
Our Staff
Our Staff members are highly trained and meet the state requirements for pre school/school age teachers. They are first aid and CPR certified. Many of the staff have been here at St. James for 5, 10, 15 and even 20 years. Our staff maintain a highly organized classroom, and take pride in our school.
Hours of Operation
We open in the morning at 7:00 AM and close in the evening at 6:00 PM. Saint James Christian Schools will be open year round with exceptions of major holidays and teacher work days (6 per year).
